Art Deco Diamond Lantern Brooch

Masterfully crafted in platinum and 18k gold, this chic 1920’s adornment is composed of a slender bar pin, filled with a graduated line of shimmering old mine-cut and single-cut diamonds, accented by two scissor-cut black onyx. Suspended by an articulated line of diamonds, a charming little chinoiserie lantern happily swings and sways. The concave belly of the lantern is filled with delightful old mine-cut and single-cut diamond blossoms, spaced by scrolling openwork, outlined in glossy bands of scissor-cut black onyx. With no detail forgotten, these’s even a glittering row of tiny rose cut diamonds hidden between the bottom tow rows of faceted onyx. Truly a treasure.
