The creature proudly displays a rare 1.20 carat triangular portrait-cut diamond, shimmering with subtle brilliance. The work bears the French eagle’s head hallmark for 18 karat gold and is numbered 625, suggestive of a distinguished Parisian atelier. An exceptional survivor of the Romantic era’s fascination with myth and legend.
