This extraordinary Art Nouveau ring depicts the Greek sea god Triton, proudly holding his trident while blowing his conch shell horn to regulate the seas. Opposite him is his daughter, Pallas, a beautiful mermaid with long flowing hair, double fishtails and a raised spear. Above them is a glowing opal, mimicking all of the wonderful colors found in the sea. The opal is delicately embraced in a freeform bezel which is adorned with tiny scalloped shells on each side. Rendered in 18k gold, this charming ring is currently a size 6.
