Kashmir Sapphire and Diamond Ring

$0.00

From the mines of the Kashmir region of India deep in the Himalayan mountains come the most desirable blue sapphires ever found. A collectors dream, one of the rarest gemstones in the world, and completely depleted from the region since 1888. These gems have a reputation of being generational pieces: something to pass down to ones family to be cherished in their memory. This momentous ring was designed by Auburn Fine Jewelers and myself with that same generational legacy in mind.

Centering on a sublime, vivid blue 4.04 carat Kashmir sapphire with a soft dream-like glow, held securely within a bezel and double prongs, hand filed to precise points and presented between a gently graduated trio of bright white, seamlessly-set diamonds (together weighing 1.86 carats, VS1/G). The refined platinum setting was hand fabricated by Sako. Truly an heirloom piece with wonderful history. Accompanied by a gemological report from AGL stating no Gemological Evidence of Heat, Kashmir origin. Currently a ring size 5 1/2
