This stunning brooch depicts a classical scene with Eros and Psyche, symbolising love overcoming all (through hard work and forgiveness), and what can be more romantic? Or more beautifully made...The scene has been finely carved into a rock crystal, which is set in a glittering frame containing four pear-shaped fancy light yellow diamonds, four rose-cut and 28 single-cut diamonds, as well as two marquise shaped onyx. Made in Vienna, Austria, ca 1900, by Pistol & Pulker.

Diamonds: 4 old pear cut diamonds .10 carat each, fancy light yellow - two are SI1 clarity and two are I1 clarity. Rose cut and single cut diamonds estimated .56 total carats - VS2 - SI1 range in clarity with H-I range in color.
