This romantic and pristine early 19th century chalcedony intaglio has been hand-carved in painstaking detail depicting two hearts nestled side-by-side, expressing everlasting love and marriage, as the two hearts are together as one. The hearts are framed by a pair of cupids lowering a tiny crown onto the hearts, expressing the heartfelt sentiment “ruler of my heart”. The oval intaglio has been mounted in a custom 18k gold bezel with twenty razor sharp prongs suspended on a 16" chain. A rare and romantic treasure.
