Art Deco 24K Jade, Opal and Pearl Bangle Bracelet


From the late 1920’s, this substantial high karat bangle has a love story to tell. Once gifted as a token of love, the interior is inscribed, "1889 Joe to Rosa 1928". The face of the bangle has been meticulously hand chased depicting a pair of love birds perched in a cherry blossom tree and embellished with jade for luck, opals for devotion and pearls for prosperity. Two tiny coins dangle from each side of the screw closure. One for longevity (shou) and one for good fortune. Exceptionally lovely. Interior circumference of 7.25”.

Jade: large cabochon measures 17.08 x 13.78 mm, partial hairline in center cabochon, two smaller 14.36 x 9.08 mm

Pearls: 6 drilled pearls, approximately 2.93 mm each

Opals: cabochons measure 6.86 mm east to west
