9K Georgian Tree of Life Hairwork Brooch with Flat Cut Garnets

To me, this tree of life is symbolic of the strength of a family. A tree has many characteristics which lend easily to symbolism. The roots are the heritage, the trunk being the strength and support for the branches which represent members of the family.  All bonded together in eternity. It could also symbolize life's journey, starting from a seedling and growing to a mature tree, with the branches representing the different paths taken in a lifetime.

A charming little tree of life crafted form tiny snippets of hair, beautifully framed in flat cut garnets. The reverse is backed in 9k gold with a hinge and c-clasp closure.
