What a unique and delightful Arts and Crafts/Art Nouveau treasure! A glowing deep purple buff top amethyst has been intaglio carved depicting Omphale carrying Hercules club and lion skin. Mounted 14k gold, the intaglio is perfectly presented in a textured border adorned with tiny orange blossoms, a symbol of love. The carving is suspended by a double row of delicate gold links, spaced by a pair of orange blossom plaques. Super special. Measures 4 5/8" long.
