Antique French 18K Blue Enamel, Pearl and Rose Cut Diamond Shell Brooch - Queen Sophia of Sweden and Norway

Associated with Queen Sophia of Sweden and Norway, this beautifully preserved French brooch offers a rare glimpse into the elegance and personal taste of late 19th-century court life. Housed in its original fitted box bearing Queen Sophia’s monogram, the graceful shell shaped brooch is adorned with luminous graduated natural pearls spaced by waves of vibrant blue enamel that follows its gentle curves. At the hinge, a small cluster of rose-cut diamonds add a sparkle in the light. The reverse reveals finely hand chased details, echoing the ornamentation on the front.
