Late Victorian Diamond Crescent Moon Brooch


This romantic diamond crescent dates to the late Victorian period. Besides being beautiful, the new moon was often symbolic of a new relationship with hopes that it would "wax" into marriage.

This exceptional crescent is set with a graduated course of shimmering old mine cut diamonds, spaced with rose cut diamond accents. Finely rendered in silver topped 15 karat rose gold.

Diamonds: VS2 - SI2 range in clarity, bright and eye clean, J-K range in color, diamond weight is approximately 2.50 - 2.70 carats.
