Georgian 18K Diamond Plaque Ring

This captivating antique ring combines a late Georgian diamond plaque with an early Victorian 18K gold shank, richly hand-chased with bold repoussé scrollwork and acanthus leaf detail. A beautiful marriage of elements consistent with the era’s tradition of preserving fine diamond work by remounting it onto later, fashionable settings.
