Edwardian Platinum Topped 14K Diamond Brooch / Pendant


This delicate Edwardian pendant, fabricated in platinum topped 14 karat gold, centers on a sparkling old mine-cut diamond encircled by a laurel wreath bracketed by a pair of foliate sprays. The heart shaped border twinkles with tiny rose cut diamonds, terminating in a tiny diamond drop. Absolutely charming! 

Measurements: 36 mm long x 20 mm wide

Weight: 4.8 grams

Main Old Mine Cut: approximately .40 ct, SI1 - SI2 clarity, M-N range in color (slightly warm) 
There is a small chip on the face of the table and a small surface reaching inclusion located on the pavilion. This can be seen with magnification.

Rose Cut Diamonds: 44 well matched diamonds, bright and eye clean

Total diamond carat weight: approximately .90 ct

Condition notes: There is a small restoration to the laurel wreath that can be seen on the bottom left hand side. There are two small solder restorations that can be seen on the back of the pendant, located on the sides. The chain is for photography purposes only.
