Opal and Diamond Arts and Crafts Brooch by Frank Walter Lawrence

$6,400.00

This enchanting Arts & Crafts era brooch has been artfully designed and meticulously hand-crafted in 14 karat gold by Gustav Manz for F.W. Lawrence, circa 1900. An electric cabochon opal moon and two glittering old mine-cut diamond stars peek through luminous pearl grape clusters wrapped in beautifully burnished, realistically rendered grape leaves. A rare and wonderful work of jewelry art.

F.W. Lawrence (1864 - 1929) was an important American jewelry designer who created hand-crafted jewelry, silver and bronzes with a similar aesthetic to that of Louis Comfort Tiffany. Nature was a source of inspiration to him, which can be seen in this captivating brooch.
