This delightful and incredibly scarce early Victorian reposse demi-parure contains a matched suite of jewels, beautifully crafted in a bloomed 15k gold with glowing, foil backed almandine garnet carbuncles. The back of the stomacher contains a small glass covered display locket and two hooks where the drop can be removed. Measuring 2 5/8” long, these day to night earrings are exceptionally lovely and can be worn with the bottom portion detached. These intricate lightweight pieces boast delicate engraved designs with a lovely time honored patina and will be accompanied by the original fitted box from Howell, James & Co. on Regent Street in London. C 1850.
