Pair of Victorian Turquoise and Diamond Brooches

A trio of vibrant turquoise cabochons take center stage on this pair of exquisite mid-19th century brooches. Hand fabricated in darkened silver and 18k gold, a graceful ribbon lined with turquoise and diamonds gently coils around a shimmering old mine cut diamond frame, beautifully outlining the central polished turquoise cabochons. The reverse shows expert craftsmanship and detailed finish work, notably the hand crafted a jour (to the day) settings, allowing light to pass through the diamonds, giving them lots of life. A delightful pair.
