French Retro 18K Sapphire and Diamond Ring

A sizable and striking dome style ring, circa 1940s – 50s France, has been expertly hand fabricated in gleaming 18k gold. Perched at the top of the ribbed dome, is a dazzling royal blue sugarloaf cabochon sapphire, elegantly seated between two sparkling old mine cut diamonds. Sculptural shoulders composed of gently graduated beads and golden spirals add the finishing flourishes to this Retro showstopper. Currently a ring size 5.5
