Vintage 14K Victorian Revival Sapphire and Diamond Ring - AGL No Heat Ceylon

Artfully crafted in 14K yellow gold, this striking Victorian Revival ring centers on a captivating unheated cornflower-blue sapphire of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin, weighing approximately 4 carats. The sapphire radiates from within a halo of glittering diamonds, embraced by a scalloped frame of black enamel. Accompanied by a certificate from the American Gemological Laboratories confirming the sapphire’s Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin with no evidence of heat treatment. Currently a ring size 8. Circa 1940–1950.

Dimensions: 20.15 x 20.35 mm, sits 9 mm off of the finger

Diamonds: 16, estimated 1.28 total carats.

Sapphire: faceted sapphire of approximately 4 carats (10.4 x 10 x 4.11 mm, weight based on dimensions) natural with no heat, good brilliance and transparency with some minor surface abrasions at facet junctions.
