Victorian Coiled Snake Brooch with Rose Cut Diamonds in Fitted Box


The serpent was a Victorian era symbol of everlasting love. Sometimes in the jewelry the gems used also contained a message. In this coiled serpent brooch, they are a representations of the giver’s feelings - rubies for passion and diamonds for consistency.

The serpent is intricately adorned with classic Victorian Etruscan Revival style granulation and exquisite twisted wire ornamentation. Hand-fabricated in 18 karat gold and sweet as can be.
