This sentimental piece was crafted by a creative person long before myself. I believe it is a love token representing the sentiment, “time flies”. The pendant is composed of a 14K gold gem-set butterfly from the Victorian era, mounted on an antique gilt silver watch dial and suspended from a modern 14 karat gold chain. The whimsical butterfly is accented with nine rose cut diamonds, two tiny ruby eyes and demantoid tipped antennae. A delightful re-imagined jewel.
Dimensions: 17 7/8” long, pendant measures 1 1/2” in diameter
Condition notes: The bezel surrounding the watch dial is gold but the backplate is not.
