Deeply romantic and incredibly rare, this late Victorian treasure symbolizes two hearts together as one. The diamond lined opal sweethearts are perfectly framed by softly curving split shoulders that transitions into a reeded shank. The interior of the shank is hand inscribed, "16 Dec 1898" with English hallmarks for 18K gold. Please note there is one very tiny, tight chip located along the border of one opal. This can only be seen under magnification or when backlit. Currently a size 6.5
